Tomei Cams

Anyone here running the tomei 272’s? I just want to know your results and have not seen much research on them. I know Tomei is a very good brand I installed 4 sets of Poncams on Rb25s and 26s I just haven’t seen any evo results and I know they’re QC is good. I seen a lot not so great QC on BCs and I honestly want to be a little different and try Tomeis on this car, so please hold the “just install XYZ cam and be done with it” that’s not what I’m looking for. I’m just looking for some honest solid Tomei cam feed back

For Evo's, GSC and Kelford (honestly mostly GSC) have the majority market share for a reason. Both GSC and Kelford offer full cam specs. Tomei does not tell you duration at 1mm lift. So from an engine building perspective you don't really "know" what you're getting. For that reason, I don't use them. And then for Kelford vs GSC, I generally prefer GSC spec's, and I like supporting a US company so I buy GSC almost exclusively at my shop.

I was looking at someone else’s thread on Aftermarket cam data it says its 237 @1mm for 270 duration cams do you think it might be much different for the 272’s or are the 272’s just not published

Different cam's are different, I have no idea what their unpublished spec's may or may not be.
