hey guys... so I when over to check out the X at my local dealer... n I got to test drive the car... seems nice And strong... but a lot slower to my IX MR... but since it's still new ...I wasn't able to redline the car ....n I did not feel anykind of "quick spool" like most people r saying then again I thought the Hood on the X was heavier then my IX...I was like damn is this thing made of steel?? lol...but even after all this the car feels and looks all grown up n I think i'm likin' it nice nav system , sharp lookin'. seats hug u tight... nice sub for great sound...so what i'm sayin' ..I think i'm ready to move on from my IX MR... ... but now there's only a couple of things stoppin' me... I have to get rid of my tarmac IX MR... but I think I will just sell it back to "Carmax" cash money baby...that trade in **** with mitsu. is all b/s... and there's no Phantom Black !!! that's the best color ...n to worstin' this also I heard it's an MR color only!!..I will not be driving no stupid auto tranny even if it's light years faster then a stick...so is this true....

Yeah, there is. You gotta pay an extra $250usd for the Phantom Black. Up here in canada, we have to pay an extra $160cdn for it. I think its the only instance where something about the EVO X is actually cheaper in Canada!

Phantom black was only on the mr was what was thought before release but now that option packages have been released you can get the phantom black on the GSR and it is a $250.00 option in the US.

 

It might have to be a special order, because once PB starts hitting the dealers, they're going to be snatched up quick.

I ordered a PB GSR about a month ago. I expect mine to show up in the next week or two.

It should already be available because a dude who works at a dealership in Western Canada says they just got one a few days ago.

 

if u didn't get it to go to red line it means only one thing.. u didn't change the settings if u put it in sport or better yet to super sport because that would improve the overall performance of the car.

 

What changes between Sport and Super Sport?
