Here's another idea..

If you want the Z06 performance, but the drivetrain that won't leave you in the snow.. get the Nissan GT-R. It might not be quite as fast as the Z06 in a straight line, but it's drivetrain will definitely match the EVO X's.

If not, then go for Z06.

Very Very Simple... Z06 all the way there is NO comparison. You cannot compare a 30k sedan to a Full Bred Sports car that is one of the fastest cars on the market. To get the evo to that point of extreme HP you will have to invest lots of money and not to mention that the z06 looks sexy as hell. Well dont wait pull the trigger on the Z later!

Good grief, if the ability to grab the Z06 is within your reach, what are you waiting for? Great car though the Evo may be, the Z06 would wipe the track with it. That's a supercar in Chevy disguise, grab it up!

That said, if you can only have one car, the Z06 may not be the best choice. I'd love to have a Z06, but it would have to be my second car because there are times when it just wouldn't be the least be practical. Plus anything I'm going to blow $60-70K on I want to keep in good condition for as long as possible. Which means no driving on sanded roads during the winter .

take your pick:
1. Practical street car that you can drive everyday in all weather and will spank most cars on the road.
2. Impractical tang-magnet, cant be driven in the snow and cries when it rains, but will DESTROY anything on the street.

Hey guys, how about-

EVO X or Ferrari 430?
EVO X or Porsche 997 GT2?
EVO X or Bugatti Veyron?

How do you think the EVO matches up to those cars, such a hard choice, I just can't make up my mind

Thats a hard choice in my opinion. Evo X is much more practical considering weather conditions and seating. But damn, the vette is a f'n beast. If it were me, id go with the vette and get a cheap beater car to drive in the winter or something, assuming i had the money to do that, lol. Good luck with your decision.

I hate to say it but for a group of Mitsubishi loyalist fanatics, I am really disappointed. For half the cost, more room ,you can drive it in the winter and the ability to match the performance of a z06 with of course a lot of extra $$, but probably not equivalent to the cost difference between the X and the Z06-- come on!! EVO X!
