If I could get a ZO6 for $61k it would be in my garage as we speak. It's a no brainer if you ask me.

^But what when you need to haul some groceries, or what to conserve on the gas?

Would your answer be the same if it was your ONLY car?

If not, then go for Z06.
I'm not sure if the GT-R has been tested, but whatever numbers i saw showed a 3.5 0-60, where as the Z06's is 3.7, and i though i saw an article dubbing it the Z06 killer. So personally if i had the money id pick the GT-R. And according to Car and Driver's Feb issue it has aerodynamics rivaling the Carrera GT, SLR, and the Bugatti.
Correct me if I'm wrong but the GT-R should be nearly as fast as a Z06. So if i had the money I'd wait for the GT-R, and skip the X or the Z06

No, if it was my only car I would not get it. But I wouldn't have that problem since I would use my 500+ whp VIII as my daily driver If I didn't have the Evo I would just get a cheap Civic for a daily driver.

I recommend the vette as well, even though I actually prefer my Evo for everyday use. For the money, vette's performance is simply undeniable for any RWD GT car.

These are two completely different cars, why are we still discussing this? Why do people need others to make a decision for them? Get whatever the hell you like and think is better for YOU.

I'd jump on the Z06. But a winter beater would be a must. Z06 and snow doesn't mix, winter tires wouldn't even help.
