EVO 10 or 2008 z06?

if you're looking to buy a car fro just the outright speed (more specifically straight-line speed) then get the Z06. if you want a car to haul your family and/or friends (car practicality) and have a speed close to a Z06 then get the evo X

You obviously know absolutely nothing about the Z06, and shouldn't even comment. A guy with a completely STOCK Z06 with drag radials is hitting high 10s easy almost trapping 130mph without breaking a sweat!

Also, Jeff Gordon and several other Z06 testers have shown the Z06 to pull over 1.1+g's on the skidpad. The X and IX are hardly a match for that, the only thing the Evo has going for it is that you can tool 4 adults around comfortably.

If I had the cash right now I would pick up a used one with a few thousand miles as my strictly Summer car.

Your choise is EASY and can be summed up like this -

Buy the Z06 for better cornering and straight line acceleration.
Buy the Evo if you need to haul around more than 2 people.
