You need to wrap it, the Mitsu paint doesn't take a lot of abuse. Make SURE you as in Photos put something on those rear door panels, or it will get shredded..

you guys need to stop buying this "kit" here "kit" there or "whatever guard"

just get rolls of clear vinyl from ebay for like $13.

and protect your car all you want.

jeezes. the way you guys do things is just a black hole of money. I'd never let you guys run my businesses.

Step 1. Go to your local auto shop.

Step 2. Look for mudflaps (They usually cost around $7 for a pair of 2, so roughly $14 for 4 flaps.

Step 3. Take 45 minutes to install them.

Step 4. Do not worry about your paint chipping around your rear doors.

The previous owner had a huge clear bra put on the front of the car, the mirrors and by the ledge of the trunk opening. Unfortunately the area by the rear door didn't get anything...

I dont have a pic of it, but my WW 08 has the WORST paint back there. It looks sandblasted. I wish I knew about this before I got the car. But it was raining when I picked it up so it looked amazing naturally.
I might take off my side skirt and have it repainted it so bad.
Dont by cars in the rain! :P

Figured I would share my pain. This is what 2+ years of driving the turn pike to / from work will do. FYI this is a ralliart not an X

Sorry for the shadows.

If that is the stuff that comes in the syringe, then yes. I much prefer that to the CQuartz. I believe that it lasts longer, if nothing else. There are a couple REALLY good reviews of that stuff floating around online.

My rear doors like exactly like those posted above on the RA. If and when I swap out my side-skirts, I will have that whole area repainted on both sides. It drives me nuts.

Does anyone else have clear coat problems? I have a strip on my passenger door about 8 inches by 1 inch right below the window and the clear coat is all bubbled up and flaked off.

I feel for you all... I've had 2 Evo's and now have my WRX, but I detail cars for a living and honestly the Opticoat is VERY hard... I also like 22PLE VX1 glass coat which is a silica based compound that gets very hard as well. I have it on my WRX after stripping off the opticoat (I like to try products so I can tell customers first hand.

I am on the Eastern Shore of MD and I will do a full decon, polish and coating of your car for a very good price if you all are interested. We just had a baby, so I need all the jobs I can get. If you aren't happy with the car... I will fix what you are not satisfied with while you watch and I will also give you 50.00 back. The VX1 does look very good I must say, though the opticoat does offer years of protection while the VX1 lasts 12-24 months depending on the condition your cars are in on a daily basis of course. I can also fix small chips, but they do have to "gas off" before they could be coated too. I can also remove wheels, fix curb rash, and can coat the wheels as well to make the brake dust a bit easier to remove. Feel free to PM me if interested.

By the way, I have pics of my work if you would like to see it.
