I'm getting about 25-26 mpg on the highway, assuming it's relatively flat and I cruise control the whole way (usually between 70-80 mph). I get around 260-280 miles before the light goes on (which seems to be at about 11.5-12 gallons) on all highway miles.

I don't drive much in the city on the Evo if I can avoid it.

*Edit: Forgot to mention, this is on the Evo X MR.

if you can't get more than 200 miles to a tank full then eithe you have something wrong with the car, or your hammering the gas at every stop light. I'm guessing the latter. Forgot to mention that I get to about 240 when the light comes on and I live in a tiny town where you go 100 ft. and stop and 200 ft and stop.. so in town my very best was about 19 average, but usually around 15.5-16. If it were on the highway, I think I could do 300 to a tankful.

Does anyone drive in multiple states? I don't know if this is just my driving style or if the gas, but it seems like I get better MPG in PA with their 92 octane than I do in NJ with their 93 octane. I also think I get better MPG with MD gas. Does the ethanol content vary per state?

I average around 14mpg per tank, sometimes less. The car can get decent mileage, but I bought this car to liven up my daily commute.

My lifetime average is 18.7MPG in 60% city 40% highway. Highway-only tanks have been in the mid-20s.

Well, my work is about 5 miles from home. Besides that I drive around tow the majority of the time. There's nothing like drifting on a NJ circle . But I enjoy dropping it into 4th on the highway, too. I have a blast overall. Might as well enjoy it while gas prices are reasonable, right?

What i noticed. When the tank bottoms out and does not show on the guage any more, there is still 2 gallons left. This bugs the #### out of me. How do they expect you to drive a car around with an empty fuel guage and still have 30-40 miles left and look for a gas station. It feels like I am on my sport bike again swishing the tank and listening for gas.

Maybe I should cut a hole in the side and use a dipstick to check the fuel when the guage doenst register and shows the dreaded yellow fuel can. My 300z and TSX had a much larger fuel tank, ah the days of practicality. I know its a race car but come on, you need to know how much gas you have. Just remember you have 2 gallons when you think your empty.

I thought all cars were like that? Would you rather have the gas light turn on with a few miles left? I know what you mean though, I get about 190-210 miles/tank and i fill up to 11 to 11.5 gallons. Theres not much range with this car.

Ive definitely got a lead foot, and I am lucky if I get 200 miles to the tank. No matter how hard i try to lay off the gas I just can't resist.

I average 17.5 - 18.5 mpg but that's using Husky 94 which has up to 10% ethanol blend which hurts overall mileage.

That's the way it should be. My bad habits make me look kind of retarded in stop and go traffic though. "vrroooOOOMMM" oh **** *breaks*.
