Before the first oil change my overall combined average was 20, After the oil change I get average of at least 25-28 mpg. I drive 80% highway because I live in Houston. And of course.. I have cobb ap.

Only the city driving, I get about 18-19ish,

My 03 cobra averages just a hair under 20MPG. And gets 24 on the highway. I would think mine would be WAY behind you guys. hmmm anyone have any input as to why this is? Driver related or just the nature of the beast?

If you look at an 08 Corvette that makes 436hp, they can still get very good highway mileage, I have read of 26-28 mpg, but this is due to the very low .50 6th gear OD. They just let the engine tick over at low rpm's to get it, but the engine does not mind it just churns over and pulls it.

daily route:
2.3miles city, no traffic then 8.5miles highway at 80mph. [no A/C]

I have a X with intake and tune (Works brainflash). I average about 23-24 mpg on the highway, and that's with the A/C on and occasional hard boosting when I pass people. I average about 22 mpg when during city/highway mixed driving. Now if I did ALL city driving it would be in the high teens. An intake and tune doesn't decrease your fuel economy. It may seem like it does but that's because people generally drive harder to experience the increased power. And the heavier foot is what does it.

The 1,000 miles was sucky, about 14mpg, now after break in and adding the K&N drop in I'm seeing about 19mpg city and 23mpg highway, if I'm all highway I can squeeze 300 out of the tank but thats with careful driving.

I have put about 17k miles on my Evo (95% highway) in the last 9 months and the best gas mileage I've seen is 23.97 MPG(hand calculated). Usually I'm around 19-21 MPG highway and 16-17 MPG when I'm driving around town.

Evo X MR

I usually drive in Normal mode and see about 22 / 23 mpg on my 20+ mile trip to and from work (90% highway).

On a recent trip of about 110 miles I managed 25.9 mpg at an average speed around 60 mph. Took a blurry phone pic with about 10 miles left to go.

I get consistently 22. Oddly enough get 22 whether it's hwy driving or city driving. On a long trip to Chicago keeping it at around 75 MPH I did get 24.5 or so. Keep in mind I have an FP Red so I can stay out of boost a lot easier than with the stock turbo.

Yea I get a paltry 250 miles per 12 gallons of gas or so driving around in town in my Evo X. I have to drive about 50 miles everyday to and from work. So rather than spend $200+/mth on gas, I bought a 2000 Honda Insight [60 mpg] for like
$5K cash as my DD and just drive the Evo X for fun on the weekends. The Insight has really educated me on fuel saving measures immensely and it almost makes me feel guilty when I drive a car that gets less than 3 times the fuel economy of it...almost.

I have an AP stage 1 flash... I get about 250 when the light comes on... but I have yet to let it run all the way out just to see. I may take a gas can with me and let it run out to see how many miles to the tank. I have not used the econ mode with a full tank yet. I'm interested to see what sort of change if any that I get. Highway I don't get the 30 that these guys say they do. I'm usually around 25-26 @ 58-62 mph.... but maybe different flashes have different mileage results. I also heard that an air filter and exhaust has helped some with their mileage.
