I got 360 miles to the gallon doing 70 mph driving from SD to PA. I had to fill up about four times....a few times I had filled up at a half tank so I didn't have to think about getting gas later on.
im tuned with a UICP and Intake...and have a 90 mile commute a day.....i avg on the highway 27.5......driving easy. Ive gotten up to 32.7........once...ha ha havent seen that again tho......when im pushing it a bit.....it goes down to about 22 on the highway......but forget about driving around town and pushing it....low teens is what i get! but even around town driving in 5th gear i can still get 20-24mpg which is damn good i think!!
I live in Arizona and will be leaving for the DSM shootout in Ohio on next Thursday the 13th I will track my mileage and see how much it cost me to go there one way and what my MPG is. I was thinking about going wingless for the trip, do you think that would help at all? I have heard that just the little strip that goes across the top of the wing adds an additional 15 lbs of down force.
I get 20-21 MPG, regardless of my driving habits. I'll drive the **** out of it and get about 240-250 on a tank, then I'll drive it easy and get, surprise, 240-250. Both with 12 gallons refill.
I can't win...I got crap mileage (260-270 on a tank) and then I did my first oil change (switched to Eneos 5w-30) and got almost 320 to the tank. Then...I bought my Cobb AP and now I only get 260-270 again. If not a little bit less. When I get on it real hard I get about 220 a tank. I don't look at MPG because that damn indicator changes too much. For the most part I am in mixed driving conditions half hwy and half city.
Doesnt matter..i had a G35 coupe and had to keep my beater civic for the rain and snow, plus they arent that great on gas either..at least i can drive the EVO in inclement weather just in case the beater is in the shop. U cant do that with RWD cars.
