EVO X - Gas Mileage?
Yea, divorced, broke, unemployed, and living off savings. Evo still around as my daily but things are rough with the rona here and all the fun it brought along with it.
Also, I found 60-65mph is the sweet spot for my car. I averages 19.5-20mpg on pump 85. Car is lowered and I do have the SSP front undertray. I'd assume if I had a rear flat tray that might improve aero as well. Shortblock has over 110k miles and chassis has 160k. Bearings haven't been serviced yet.
I think its safe to assume the X is well built.

Yeah, I remember how divorce sucked. And mine was one of the easier ones I've heard of.
The whole international plague sucks, too.
Cinco De Mayo finally comes on Taco Tuesday, and it's ruined by the Corona virus.
Running laps at the NC Center for Automotive Research, I got about 6.7 miles/gallon.
If I started a lap session with a full tank of gas, everything was OK.
If I didn't fill up again, then during the next lap session the fuel supply would get below half a tank, and I'd eventually have a lap where the big left-hand sweeper pulled the fuel away from the pickup point and the engine would stutter a few seconds later.
I never thought fuel would be such a hassle on the track, of all places.

I'm glad to see its not just me. New MR owner here. I went from 460 miles a tank in my 2016 Lancer GT (traded in for the 2013 MR). To 260 tops in the EVO. The first thing I noticed was the fuel economy! I thought my EVO was jacked up... But 20mpg seems normal according to research.
I just remembered something, and now I'm surprised I haven't seen it on this thread:
Works has been offering this "Brain Flash Eco" software since 2008, when gasoline cost over $4/gal.
https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/la...available.html
The current price appears to be $199.

Has anyone tried it? Any results to share?

Update: changed all of the fluids (all of them, even the stupid expensive sst fluid) and my new readings are 290 miles per tank. Getting around 22mpg standard driving. I was seeing 17mpg as my old normal. Ran 2 bottles of the gumout fuel system cleaner as well.
