You dont need a BOV, the stock one is good. Any filter kit will get you decent gains. Check the engine forum and do some research there. Busher, ETS, UR, etc all make intakes.

Look, i know what your looking for, go to autocenter or any auto parts near your house, get a 3 inch cone filter, install it , just make sure you keep the sensor, and you will get the bov sound and get a few hp gains.

Yeup...their right...no BOV, it's unnecessary. I just installed the Ultimate Racing intake today ($150) and it's amazing. I can def feel a difference. The cars spools up so much quicker and pulls hard and smooth to redline. Also, it sounds amazing.

It won't change the sound that much.

Plus you'll be able to hear the bov with an intake.

I guess I'm a ricer now too because I do not like the quiet sound my turbo makes (I should say doesn't make). My VIII with a recirc BOV was loud as hell. I can't wait to throw an intake on my X. I'm not doing it only for the sound, so I guess I get a reprieve.

Get the AMS performance CAI w/ oil catch can. You'll love it.
The stock BOV is great, but whatever u do, don't get anything that vents to atmosphere, 100% recirc only. Throw this in with the AGP Intercooler pipes while your at it, and you get to reposition the bov where it belongs.

The intake system definitely does liven up the performance of the X significantly and the hard piping combined with an open element filter takes your BOV discharge sound from silent to pleasantly noticeable As has been posted the stock metal BOV is a really nice factory piece and won't need replaced until you're approaching 30psi. If you have any questions about our components or options don't hesitate to get a hold of me!

You can check out our intake system on the site here -
