A story of the little engine that COULD . . .
I believe from the interior that it was actually a ferrari F430. As it said in the video, the X is tough to catch in the turns but in a straight line a car that has 180 more hp and weighs less is just stupid. Handling is a more impressive trait than straight line acceleration IMO. Any idiot can press a gas pedal in a fast car in a straight line, and it's not hard to make a car fast. A car's handling ability requires more advanced technology and design. This is where the EVO excels, imparticular the X.
Thanks guys! It was all in good fun. Our little group had a Lambo LP640, Ferrari 328GTS, 996GT2, 996GT3, 996TT and my Evo X. Another friend with a Ferrari Testarossa came as an observer.
The "video reply" was in-car footage from inside the LP640. We traded places "tailgating" each other the whole day.

Well apparently the OP said that it was his buddy in the lambo. Either way, it's hilarious that the lp640 couldn't catch him in the turns but damn did it just crush him in that straight. That's what 640 hp will do!
awesome vid. You were a little late getting on the throttle in many of the turns, not taking full advantage of the S-AWC, but seemed extremely comfortable for a first timer. I am impressed and can't wait to track mine. (not that I will do any better).
Man, awesome vid, looks like a few more laps and you would've had a good pass (of course he would have passed you back in one of those two straights if you couldn't block successfully) (again, not that I would try to block in my evo). Impressive.
Can't wait to see what this thing will do with some computer controlled tiens, upper (pillowtop) and lower arms, and adjustable alignment kit. That along with about 650-750 awhp and this thing will be a dream on the track.
