http://media.mitsubishicars.com/deta...54523&mime=ASC

Tough month for Mitsu overall selling only 7,494 units. Down 42.4% vs. June last year while the industry was down 18.3% vs. June last year.

Evo X sales so far this year...

April = 364
May = 351
June = 315
TOTAL = 1,030

The car industry is down overall but it has a way to go before it hits rock bottom
It's gonna get a lot worse.

It is time for some REAL discounts if they want to move some cars.

Yikes, a mediocre debut month, followed by slower sales and then Evo sales dropping 10% even with the debut of the MR...

Hope mama Mitsubishi the parent company doesn't decide to pull the plug on MMNA

The MR will fill in the rest of the country throughout this month. Hopefully they can break 400 in July. It would certainly help if they do a sales incentive, but I think they are trying to wait out the storm like everyone else.

Are you really surprised? The economy is in the sh*ts, 91 oct gas is $5/gallon and you think people are going to run out and get a 35-40k car that gets 18mpg? Come on.

All the car manufactures are reporting car sales being down. The only one that hasn't been hurt that much has been Hyundai. SUV and trucks sales are the worse, then large cars, midsize cars, etc etc.

Toyota, Honda, and Nissan are hurting too..but not that much, only because of their strong marketing presence of their cars being fuel effecient and Honda and Toyota having hybrid vehicles in their lineups.

Mitsu needs to start appeal to the fuel conscious consumer market. I finally saw a Mitsu ad marketing the new Lancer can get 30mpg. The new Outlanders also get better MPG than the previous year from better fuel mapping of the 08 models.
