I don't think you understood.

Out of the ones that do not get the light at all, those users have only used TARMAC mode.

So some of those who haven't gotten an ASC light are using Tarmac mode. I get that. But there are people who have gotten the light in Tarmac mode as well and stated that they switched to Snow mode and it didn't come on as much.

My car was tuned at AMS in August and haven't had any issues whatsoever.

Congrat's on the awards, and thanks for the update on how you're monitoring the issue to get to the bottom of it. Coming from a software background, I know how fun the debugging process can be. Good luck with it, and I'll be watching to see how things go.

I was one of the first customers to recieve the z-chip and in fact was the first one to comment about the ASC light coming on. Unfortunalty I put mods on the car first so I was never able to tell what caused what first. I recently had my buschur catback removed and went back to stock, and wouldn't you know it, my ASC light has yet to return. Now buschur and AWD motorsports(the company that removed the exhaust) say they have never heard of any issues with the light coming on from the exhaust at all, But i'm sure there are people reading these threads that know that the ASC light has come on from bolt-on mods alone (i've read people's post's about it) so surely there are some ecutek ASC light issues. Are people that die-hard about there reflash that they don't want to admit one ASC light problem? or do they not want to contribute it to their reflash? Anyways, My ASC light problem is gone(so far).

Expect RobiSpec to share a much needed explanation of the SAWC system as well as his input on what most likely causes these ASC lights to come on.

Fortunately Chris, We have not had ASC Light issues.. AL @ Dynoflash was here yesterday and tuned 2 Evo X's which both made 345-350whp and neither experience the issue.. We have in car video of hard cornering in the MR and WOT and no lights.. I am sure it will get worked out but stating that Flash guys are getting the light but not speaking of it is a TOTALLY FALSE statement.. Why would flash customers deal with the issue after paying 750.00 for flash..

It was amazing to read about your results on the zchip without the catback Chris. Putting down +72whp on the zchip in your stock car on AWDMotorsport's own dyno says something about the pnp product. The fact that your car does not have the ASC light after you removed your catback is very interesting info that points to either high torque to the rear wheels vibrations from the exhaust..

I have read that the SAWC module actually APPLIES BRAKES to the rear wheels when too much torque is going to them. I found that very interesting and may be the cause of the light.

I'd have to agree with this. If I paid that much for a tune, I'd be concerned/upset if it were causing a warning to go off.

I have removed my MBC & Intake just to see what happened, and the ASC lamp still comes on, so I know for a fact there is something relating to the Zchip causing it.. I'm not saying the Zchip itself is the cause (electrically speaking), but perhaps the resultant power gain. It's just odd that cars tuned "harder" than mine aren't getting the lamp, but mine is. I boost at 24psi, spiking at up to 26 at times, and have the Cobb tuning intake. No other mods at all. We need someone to post the DTC set by the ASC module. (This century would be helpful! )

Again whats ODD is that Both cars here yesterday that were Ecutek flashed had Buschur Catbacks on them and made 100whp Approx and no lights..

The Don't confuse the ASC/ABS module with the S-AWC control unit. They are separate. Also, when the system is fully disabled (3 sec push), the brakes cannot be applied to any wheel for stability purposes, only normal & ABS braking.
