The prototype #2 customer just left here. We'll analyze his map and see if we can find any variances since he has NEVER got the ASC light.

The nicest part of all of this is that every ZChip user is able to login to www.zchip.net and download updates, trade maps, self tune and adjust at their leisure.

Are "first batch" Zchip buyers going to get a cable from Zeitronix / TTP?

There is a Torque / Airflow map on the stock ECU ..

I've already said .. there is alot of communications going on with the engine ECU and the rest of the accessories .. the SES light is probably due to signal mismatch ..

If you wonder why I know .. search for my posts on disassembling the X ECU .. and NO I am not guessing

Also ASC /ABS is part of SAWC ..you remove ASC totally .. you actually revert back to older gen evo SAYC / ACD combo ..

Weather is turning cold .. you guys are going to get alot of this airflow mismatch crap soon especially the MBC owners

I set my mbc back to 24, & ses is gone, not worried about that one at all right now. I am aware that abs-asc is part of the s-awc.. Just need to get to the root of the ASC warning for now..

Its been addressed that the ECU would like to reduce torque to the wheels, however the ZChip denies it's request to reduce power and torque.

I hope addressing the ASC issue is still a priority.

My X is decommissioned for now, though.. Did a single pull from 0-80 & ASC warning popped on, accompanied by a loud noise & massive loss of trans/xfercase fluid, whining noises & a glowing red turbocharger..

Unfortunately, I am not. The X has already been turned over to Mitsu in Dallas for repairs. Estimated to get it back Wed..

Note: It was night, and the turbo was glowing, which *may* be normal, I don't know. TTP may chime in on this one. This is my first turbocharged vehicle.

Whaaaat??? Are you positive its tranny / Tcase fluid?? What speeds were you at when it failed?? Its very unlikely to damage tcase or tranny once the car is up and running past 60mph.. you sure it didnt window the block?? Im sorry to hear about what happened to the car.. You were one of the few really working on getting the ASC issue resolved.. I cant imagine what failed on an EVO w/ ~320whp...
