In town, I can usally make it about that but the most I have put in the tank is 12.9 gallons. Without an analog gauge that has distance to E plus how far down the letter E, you really can't judge.

I am just not brave enough to go very far after the last bar is gone because I have no way to gauge it at all. It is one feature I really don't like on newer cars. In my eclipse, I will know that until the needle passes the lower left corner of the E I have at least 2 gallons left.
