A week ago I got side-swiped by a truck. There was damage to the driver's side front wheel, hood, fender area. The engin/intercooler was not hit.

My insurance wants to total loss the car because it's going to be over 15k for the repairs. I have a list of the parts if anyone wants to see it. the most expensive things are the 2 airbags.

Is anyone interested in buying it from me? It would make an excellent parts car and you can probably double your money parting it out.

$15k in repairs +$3k = $18k for a totaled '03. Yeah...they got a SCREAMING deal. Surprised nobody jumped on it

 

If you have your own shop and can do the repairs youself it is not 15K....probably half as most of it is labor.
