If I had the money I would get it, its a Great car and you know its going to keep its Value for a while.
Here In Fresno CA. They have a Blue GSR for 29K (New)

Now the MR IMO is way too much. I know the Tranny is Super cool and the latest Mitsu has, but I've seen some MR'S for 48K. Thats too much.

I think GSR is pretty reasonable price. MR is too a little overpriced. I know the tranny cost a lot, but the tranny doesn't hold as much power as other twin-clutch systems. It also not only increase the price, but also the weight of EVO X.

I would purchase the GSR. I think it is the best bang for the buck out there period!!! I'm kicking myself in the A$$ for not waiting for it and buying a STI.

I think a lot of things could be better about it at its price point. But if four doors, or even four seats is a requirement...there is not much out there that compares in the handling department. My slowest cars are my favorite cars, so I don't pay too much mind to the Cobalt SS/etc... There is a "fun to drive" element that the X captures...so now I just need to finally pull the trigger. The pricing is pretty decent, especially combined with the 0% financing...which I would love to see on the MR as it represents a substantial savings for me.

Also Keep in mind

If you get a GSR, with SSS, Navi + Tech package , and Aero

You are looking at around $35,999

Fully Loaded MR w/ the same options is $36,999

MR's scare me. Well, at least if you plan on modding. I've heard the tranny is only good for 350whp before you should be concerned.

I heard there might be a 'luxury' package for next year that has the MR wheels and leather interior in the 5spd GSR format. That sounds like a sweet combo.

From what I hear, the MR tranny is limited to 350 lb-ft of torque. That is at the crank, not at the wheels.
