Hey quick question. I pulled off my valve cover to paint it and the gasket is stuck to the head in 2 places. should I pull it off to reinstall it or leave it attached to the head.

I vote pull it off, clean any areas of the top of the head if there is any residue, and use a new one. Used gaskets are finicky, and even if they look to be in good shape, they tend to be leaky after reinstallation for some reason. It's worth spending the money to avoid the headaches of having to take off the valve cover again if it did turn out to leak. Preventative maintenance is always a good thing.
