Pillar Pods

I have a 08 GTS Lancer, and I know this is for the EVO side of the BB, but I was wondering, if anyone here has or knows where to get a pillar pod or steering column gauge set up. Since the EVO X and LANCER 08 GTS have the same interior. Any help would be appreciated

A simple gauge holder on the steering column works great.

But doesn't look that great. Just my opinion, but I think the A pillar pods look much cleaner (if the pod is well-made/matching of course).

I agree, IMO, that looks too "added" I want something that looks clean and stock. I know someone has got to make them, if not, we should all come up with one...LOL

Apparently Glowshift was working on one but I haven't heard anything about it and it's not on their website.

I looked on there site as well, and asked them, and this is what they sent back to me

"I do believe we plan on making a 08-xx gauge pod however we do not currently have an ETA on when these may be available.

Thank you,
Will"

In this thread, someone mentioned that Glowshift's 2003-07 Mazda 3 pod fit the Evo X pretty well, so you might want to look into that. Unfortunately the pics aren't up anymore.

Derek from Rexpeed says they're making one for the pillar.

There is an issue with the airbags on the a-pillar. Though it's at our digression to disable/remove them or not. But I think majority of the people will keep their airbags. And thus it reduces there "demand". I personally will go w/ the dash setup of some kind.

^The airbag deployment will not affect a pillar pod, there have been many threads discussing this.

Here is my temporary setup until I get a pillar pod:

yeah this lie needs to stop being posted, the pillar pod will in NO way effect the air bags

this is the EVO X, I see you indash Tach is on the left side and odometer is on the right.... it is reversed on my GTS 08... but I like the gauge you have on yours. You just drilled into your steering column, right?

I hope it comes out quick. I wanna get it soon. And I don't believe all the airbag talk, because they are designed to blow away from the face, plus, your gonna get smacked in the face with the steering wheel bag.... those are the ones that give you black eyes, and burn marks.....
