I have the rattle that seems to come from the dash or behind the radio/climate controls somewhere. I am planning on replacing the stereo in a few months and would have the opportunity to drive it around with the radio out to see if I can locate the noise. Has anyone with an aftermarket radio noticed a change or elimination of rattles? It only makes the rattle when going over bumps so it isn't all the time. The noise is also more pronounced when the car is cold. After driving for a while it reduces quite a bit. It seems to me as if it is just a loose fitment of something behind or under the radio or climate controls. Thankfully I don't have the shifter or door pillar rattles (knock on wood)

 

It is very frustrating when something like this goes on. You pay all this money for a car and this happens. I had a rattle when ever I let off the throttle. It sounded like a heatshield. Turns out is was the wastegate flapper door. I was so glad to get a new turbo uder warranty.
