Single weighs less is what I meant, sorry about that.

Here is a thread about dual exit mufflers: https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ev...r-2-exits.html

I personally went with a dual for looks, I didn't want a fart can look on my nice new car. I don't believe the Buschur catback weighs much more than a single exit, and power-wise it's right there.

Most of the singles weigh the same as the dual, i believe the buscher single is 1 # more than the dual. neither make more or less power, its purely cosmetic. imo it came with dual leave it dual...

Bingo. The dual will draw way less attention from cops as well. I'm waiting for AMS's Dual Version since the tips look very close to stock. Plus the extra money is worth it for having to put up with "Fart Pipe" comments.

Definitely go with dual but I think it's pointless to go with a dual style canister. Just get dual tips. It looks way better. The canister style muffler looks tacky on the X.

Since we're on the subject of cat back exhaust for the X (and without starting another thread on the subject)...

What's the best dual cat back exhaust for the X that won't attract too much attention from the boys in blue?

Definitely get a dual exhaust for your X. It suits the X much better than a single exhaust would. I like the way the dual exhaust looks from Ultimate Racing.
