I find mine does this with the A/C on, A/C off it's much better!

Some of the Sube guys are reprograming their drive-by-wire with something called RomRaider. Is that something we could use?

 

The rom raider is like ecuflash, but exclusively for subaru.

Yes - UK FQ360 does it.

Although, to be honest, I only ever notice it when maneoevering slowly (e.g. in a carpark). Not aware of it on open road.
