Anyone else holding out to buy a new X?

After getting in contact w/ numerous dealers here in AZ there still quite a few X's left on the lots. w/ Mitsu offering the 2k off only through March 2nd i wonder what theyll offer after that date. the more time goes by the better incentives they have.

i just received an e-mail from a dealer yesterday saing they were offering all X's for 3k below invoice. it didnt say if that was mitsu's 2k off + military + loyalty, but im sure thats what it meant.

is anyone else holding out like me until the last possible moment?

I'm pretty sure you can only get one or the other, not both. 0% or $2k rebate.

I'm waiting, but only because I'm paying over half upfront so I can be approved without a cosigner hopefully.

I hope the current administration forces banks to give out loans to people who should be qualified by the time I'm ready, which will be the end of May or beginning of June.

I'm definitely holding out. If they're able to offer the 2k off + 500 military rebate + 0.0% apr (hopefully I qualify) then I just might pull the trigger. If not, I can always wait out the 2010 X and get Mitsubishi VIP discount (another hopefully there also )

My dealership didn't even make it aware to me that I could choose 2k rebate or 0% financing even when I made a big deal about my apr before signing.

they just started the 2k off about a week ago. it supposed to end tomorrow but obviously theyre going to still have cars left over.

im wondering if theyll just continue the same deal or come out w/ something better.

Maybe follow in Kia's footsteps? Buy a 2008 EvoX and get the Galant or base Lancer free?

I suppose we'll find out the new deals in a few days... but I'd assume they'll just allow you to combine 0.0% with the 2k off.

On a similar note, can you add the military rebate on to any of the other offers??? Same with the customer loyalty?

Yeah, they started it the day I purchased the car. I thought "wow, what a great deal". So I purchased the car, started talking to people and found out that I could have got 0% financing; now I'm pissed. That's a difference for me of 1,600 bucks down the line. Bull**** that they didn't tell me about the financing when they told me about the rebate. Deception.

Tomorrow 3/2 is the last day they offer the 0%, I do not know what else incentives they will have, but I am getting my RR tomorrow. The price is too good to be true. Trust me they are desperate to sell the cars. I was looking for a few dealers locally and they were bugging me the hell out of me. They tried to throw baits like "somebody is looking at your RR evox" etc to make me bite it. It's a way of doing sales but I think it was too much. I think tomorrow will be the last chance everybody getting their 0%
