Anyone else ditched the plastic protector panel under the car?

Why do you think Mitsubishi would pester you with an undercarriage cover if it had no use? It designed for aerodynamics and channels the air properly through and out of the engine bay.
+1 I agree....

(Ralliart) - And expensive

I mean with that being said, I may end up with a carbing under guard myself. A little added performance and protection

It helps reduce drag at speed substantially. Say it with me, aerodynamics.
It also protects the underside of your engine, IC, etc. from the elements.
Thank god that cooler heads prevail. The stuff that I see some EVO owners do to their cars amazes me. And makes me cry.

Poor EVOs.

sigh.... I have an VIII, and after a minor mishap in which my undertray got fudged, I ran w/o it, besides, I have a huge FMIC.........
so, I noticed at high speeds (i.e. over 100 mph), that the front end got a little more squirrley, not a huge amount, but I definately could feel a difference. needless to say, I spent the $$$ to buy all 3 pieces, and put that back on, made new FMIC brackets, so I could mount it higher etc.
