Recently, I've been having trouble getting the car into reverse. I haven't changed the tranny fluids on the car yet, was planning to do it on the next oil change ( car only has around 5,500 miles ). I was wondering if anyone else was experiencing this issue? I usually have to put the car into 1st or double clutch in neutral or else the reverse just refuses to engage.

 

I recently started having the same issue. I usually put car in first and roll an inch or so then try reveerse again and thus far that works.

My car has about ~4,000 miles

 

i have this on occasion right after start up. i do the same thing put it in first and maybe inch forward then put it in reverse. don't know if it has to do with the synchos being misaligned/unmeshed in the position you left it in.

 

Weird, never had this issue in my evo8. It's not big deal though, a double clutch usually solves the problem though. Good to know that it's not an isolated case though.

 

Mine does it too and I think it might be getting worse. I have actually flushed the transmission twice (once with syncromesh and once with Amsoil).
