the big problem for RS in Australia is that its NOT road-registerable... so you instantly loose a big chunk of the market..

also lack of ABS sux
why so?

probably, also mitsu doesn't want to spend the money getting this variant complied..

which is why the RS is about 15k cheaper than the GSR...

there are loads of them still in SoCal. Sounds like your dealerships didn't have that many to begin with.

EVO Touring is very similar in concept to my favorite STI, the 2007 STI LTD.

I like this a LOT!

$40k is too much. I would go elsewhere for that price...

Mitsu.... the touring version might be interesting to lots of mature buyers if it had a proper manual as an option. Nothing against the SST, there certainly is a stong market for it, but consider BMW and Porsche: Manual is standard and DCT and PDK are options. Why alienate a segment of customer you are targeting? I would never drive an SST, DCT or PDK, unless I had to because of some physical issue. Guess I'll go GSR and add some suede and heated seats.

+1, i would have loved the luxury features that the MR tourning had, but when I found out the 2010 MR would still be SST only, i just decided to get the best deal possible on an 08 GSR instead.

Agree - SST is a dealbreaker for me. Too bad the GSR does not offer a 6 speed.
