Just wondering since a few reports said we would get an 08 model, but never did.

the 2010 VIN is out and the RS is not there. just the GSR and MR.

They couldn't give them away if I recall correctly. It's a shame too because I would have bought an '08 RS in a heartbeat.

Yep, I loved my RS... might have bought one as well unless it happened to not have some of the features I like on mine.

Be glad we have GSR because according to our demands and needs luxury comes first which offcourse comes in MR with extra 100lbs. Why would they sell a car with no auto windows in US

Some people like the hard core every ready track beast that the Evo can become.
I personally would have opted for the RS (if it was as hard core as the previous gens) in a heartbeat.

I would guess that RS sales would cannibalize GSR sales in the US. Therefore why would Mitsu sell the RS here if they can get everyone who would want it to buy a (more expensive) GSR?

An RS would have to be pretty damn cheap for me to consider one since my car is a DD.

It would also have to weigh more than 60lbs less than the GSR for me to be interested. Weren't the viii/ix RS's only like 60lbs lighter than their GSR counterparts?

It would be much lighter if it was like the Japanese RS.

Hm, crazy how it really doesn't make a difference taking out all the "creature comforts". Thx for the info.
