were already included in European 2008 models (GSR MT/SST and MR SST).

What! The europe cars already got this stuff? So when we get this stuff in 2010 what will the europe cars get then? Even more better add-ons?

I love the reverse thing where when you put your car in reverse the video will play in the mirror! Thats crazy!

 

Here in Australia the MR comes with:
- rain sensing wipers
- Heated Seats only
- adaptive lights

Though we don't have the HDD with the Sound system.

Whats with the 2010 model being built in DEC08? My X was built in NOV 08, and it was sold as a 2008.

 

Lol too bad we get screwed over for options for the GSR trim. Wish we had the SSS option.

Holy misinformation batman!

First off, no one knows if the 2010 EVO MR touring's roof will be steel or aluminum yet. The Outlander with the moonroof still has an aluminum roof, so if they incorporated that, then maybe steel, maybe aluminum? We'll see.

Secondly, the MR in the video is an 09 (which was never brought to stateside.) I have spoken and met with dealers, including one in particular who showed me his screen where an estimated September arrival showed that the car was assembled on August 4th. For those already here, the build date was not Dec. 08. The 2010's coming here are brand new, not imported left over 09s from another country.

Mitsubishi simply used another region's left over unused 09 on display for MOD 2009 this summer.

Jwoods, you are right on. BUYERS STILL HAVE CHOICES.

If you want a base EVO, go buy one for 34k.

If you want an EVO, with leather, moonroof and heated seats then go buy the MR touring. There is nothing wrong with continuing performance while expanding options, ESPECIALLY when you still have a choice.

PS- In the winter, I would love heated seats and rain sensor wipers are a cool novelty. Having a moonroof for fall, spring, and summer is outstanding, and rockin some leather Recaros?

That was the most annoying video ever! Horrible music and a tweeker holding the camera. God has that guy ever filmed ANYTHING in his life? I got motion sickness from that chit. and the car, big deal! my 1990 vw corrado had heated seats, my 9 has leather recaros and rain sensing wipers? good thing because you can never tell when its raining untill its too late. They are making the EVO really watered down. Keep the luxurys to another model.

So your EVO 9 has leather seats and rain sensing wipers yet you hate the EVO X for having... the same thing: leather seats and rain sensing wipers? If you didn't like those options, you didn't have to buy that trim model then, and you still have a choice now.

As for "keeping the luxurys [sic] to another model",
-if someone wants the same luxury you bought in your EVO 9, they can: buy the MR touring,
and if someone wants a base EVO, they can, buy the evo gsr.

I think it is that simple, but if not, perhaps we can just agree to disagree.
