What hose is this? --- it fixed my idle
#34
Sorry to revive an old thread, but I wanted to say THANKS!!!!!!!! This hose had come loose. I had the same issue with my idle fluctuation wildly and had taken it to the dealer once. Even though I asked, they were not interested in pointing out what hose had come loose, but they had "fixed" it under warranty. Happened again, obviously and I took a different path looking here for answers.
Turns out this can really confuse people I think. I had also read about doing a proper reset / clearing codes etc - of which I didn't find any but my service engine soon light was on. Anyway, I flashed it with my AP - and cleared learned memory. What I forgot to do was let it idle for some time after starting it up. It didn't idle strange at first, but when I turned on the AC it started fluctuating again, almost like before but not as crazy. I took it for a spin, hitting WOT pulls to 65 ish a few times and it's all normal now. If idle goes nuts again, I'll check the hose - and if it's still connected, then I'll clear codes/ learned memory and do the proper procedure.

It's in both ends, just that in that picture, the bottom end is not seen clearly.
Anyway,
Using Silicon hose, it is not as easy to slip out comparing to the stock hose. Cable tie definately secured it tightly.
