Finally getting an evo!
I didn't get one negative comment on the car since I had it. Everyone around me likes it a lot and many envy my car. It's understandable... I've waited so long before getting my "dream" car and meanwhile all my friends had theirs! But now it's finally sitting in my driveway and I'm really proud of it!So, next spring, I'm going to take some driving lessons on the track. I want to get to know my car better and learn how to drive it properly.

Today was only the third time I was driving my evo to go to work (out of 12 possibilities since I've owned the car). The main reason is that I'm afraid something bad is going to happen, like an accident or something. Other reasons are fuel consumption and also, because time goes by so slooooooooowwwwwwwwwwwly when I know I'll be driving the evo when I leave work (and I'm not kidding)...
So, unless my girlfriend needs the yaris for some reason, I'll take the yaris over the evo to get to work.
Today, from all the times I've driven to get to work, was the closest call I've had in terms of avoiding an accident. And it had to be with the evo... (which confirmed my fear #1) I was in the left lane and approaching a red light when a moron in the right lane decided he was cutting in the left lane to avoid cars already waiting and to be first at the light. I had to swerve left (there was a turning lane starting there and I was lucky no one was there) and jam the breaks. I know this kind of story happens frequently and has nothing unusual about it, but it was a very close call. Needless to say that I severely used my horn and I think the entire neighborhood heard me swearing and calling him names like there was no tomorrow. I showed him my middle finger every time I saw he was looking at me in his mirror. I finally stopped swearing and started breathing again once he disappeared from my sight.
Some people just drive like they own the f****** road...
