Leave nothing of value in your car. Problem solved. I got my truck broken into a couple months ago. Took my GPS, didn't even TOUCH the Evo because there's absolutely nothing inside. I have glass coverage, so the window was replaced for free.

Let us know the outcome, all modern gas stations have surveillance and any surrounding banks and such will also. All you need is about a 10 minute clip of video from 5 minutes before to 5 minutes after the charge.

82 bucks? Most places have different limits on how much gas you can buy depending on what kind of car you use; mastercard, visa, etc.

Maybe they did a transaction inside and you will even get the persons face on surveillance.

If having a sound/vibration sensor is a hassle because you live in an area with a lot of loud traffic, consider having a motion sensor in the car, like the kind used in convertibles. That way, it'll only go off if someone goes INTO the car.

Also, I have "HOLY **** CHECK PHOTO ID!" written with bright permanent marker on BOTH sides of my cards. It attracts enough attention that they check ID every time.
