damn man this is hella sh*tty! glad your ok! did you have the battery relocated to the trunk by chance? saw this happen to a car at the track a few years back...positive cable was routed under the car with no rubber grommets between the body and cable...cable eventually wore through and shorted right by the gas tank and the car went up in flames!

all evo X have the battery in the trunk....

I hope it wasnt the battery cause that means were all at risk !!! Glad to see your ok though car was clean

I don't think the risk is that high,if it was we would see more EVO fires. even new Ferrari's have problems http://www.topgear.com/uk/car-news/f...ire-2010-07-19

i talked to the insurance company today. gave them all the info i could and tomorrow i will be talking to a claims adjuster. I believe on wednesday i will be talking to an investigator, not sure though.

i will keep you guys informed as to what really caused the fire.
