I bought mine used with 12k on it and it's completely stock. I "messed up" and bought the super end all warranty for 7 years from now anything is covered. So I really don't feel like breaking that, but I've only had the car for almost 2 months, and I'm at school while it's at home so I haven't had much time to drive it. I'll letcha know a year from now if it's still stock...I might ask the dealer if I can get some money back and take away the extra warranty, but who knows.

The thing is the only other car I've driven is a Pontiac Grand Prix that I "shared" with my mom, so this car is such a big step up that I don't feel like I need a tune or any bolt-ons.

Side note, I just got back from seeing Fast Five, so it's probably a good thing that I didn't have my car here otherwise I would have gotten pulled over :P

I kept my '10 SE all stock so far. Honestly the power is enough for me and I'd rather have the warranty then a few extra horses.

About the extended warranty, you can usually get a refund on all or part of it if you change your mind.

Yeah...like you said, this car is more than enough for me. It's not like I was driving Ferrari's before this or anything. I wasn't really in the market for one either, but it was on the lot, I had the money, things happened

Im torn. My Subaru was quick enough tgat I think, know, that the SE power will bore me quickly yet I feel that its almost criminal to mod it in irrevocable ways. I have aome time to think, Il be assisting my wife mod her Charger in the mean tine.

I think if I did ANY cosmetic stuff I'd get black wheels and tint, but I DO love the whole blacked out thing you've got going on. My wife is working on that with her black Charger...looks sick.

You had chrome side mirrors from the factory? How?

One day I'll probably get an upper inter-cooler pipe to replace the "hose" that is currently there just because I think it will look a lot better (even though it's under the hood and nobody really ever sees it).

I talked to my dealer about doing mods and if it would effect the warranty. They said that for most things, if you bring it in and have them do the mod, it won't effect your warranty.

However, you should keep in mind when it comes to power upgrades, the transmission in our cars is only rated to 370 ft/lbs of tourqe.

I'm getting to the point in life where I don't want to do much to a car performance wise. Want something fast out of the box that I can do minor bolt ons to. The Evo fits that bill perfectly for me. The MOST I would to is intake/exhaust/Cobb tune. That is probably plenty of power for me, and yet not enough that the tranny would be stressed. Of course, that's IF I decide to do anything, the concept of keeping this car cherry and stock is one that I'm seriously considering. The question of not WHAT mods to do, but SHOULD I do them. Hell the motor isn't even broken in yet so I have a LOONG time before I get bored with the power levels.
