Evo X whoose/whistling noise

I was wondering if anyone else notices a slight whistling/whooshing noise audible while sitting inside their X and revving the engine around 2k rpms. It happens in neutral and all 5 gears for me. This sound doesn't occur everytime I drive the car. I do have an aem cai installed that was put on 2 years ago but just recently noticed the noise. I don't have any other mods under the hood except a boost controller that was set by RRE. Do you guys have any ideas what it could be??

Ok, so I figured out what the heck was going on. I checked all the hoses and everything seemed to be fine but I could still hear the noise sometimes. After some scientific testing, I found out that if I have my ipod connected to the AUX with the speakers on, there is some type of sound amplification that comes through the speakers that sounds like the whoosh noise. If, at that same moment, I turn off the speakers, the noise goes away. HAHA..what the heck.
