Pretty sure the MR-Touring roof is a different material than the GSR's and base MR's because of the sunroof.

 

i heard MR-T has steel roof, others have aluminum roof. : )

The only need for a sunroof in a n Evo is to have topless hoes hanging out of it. If this is the case, pics or it didn't happen.

 

Is there a reason you're only looking for an 11? You can get the "Sun and Sound" package on the 12's too. That might open up your available options.

 

The roof on the Evo without the sunroof is aluminum, the roof on Evo's with the Sun and Leather are steel. Apples and Oranges. If you want a sunroof, gotta order an Evo with Sun and Leather like I did.


However, Evo with no sunroof *is* a lot lighter. The steel roof and glass is really heavy.

 

yeah just wait till you have one with aroof because then you would have problems later on with paint issues and etc.

 

correct me if I'm wrong, but don't all of them "have roofs", and how would the paint quality issues differ based on having a sunroof or not. I see the chipping on my front bumper all the time.
