hey guys hope u can help me. my remote will not lock/un-lock the doors to my 08 mr. do i have to go to the dealer, or is there a thread on here where i can program it myself? thanks

 

This thread explains how to change the battery (if needed), and I guess somewhere in your owner's manual, there are instruction on how to re-program it (I'm thinking you'll need your spare to do this)...

Goto the dealer, it is under warranty and they will re program it for free no problems. I had the same issue - dealer fix'd it fast.

theyll blame it on you if you do. dealeships always try to get out of warranties if they can.

 

i would suggest just let the dealer technician handle it.

 

update: the dealer did fix my problem, but cost me $107. i knw too much, but my wife said get it fix. lol. ya they told me they used a commputer to reprorgam it.
