metal to metal shifting

okay so i went to warm up the car about 10 mins then i drover her about 2 blocks 1st is good then 2nd felt little grind and 3rd it didnt grind but it felt like it rub on metal. I thought it was me but i stopped at a red light then again same thing, should i change to works short shifter. need some info guys everything stock

Warming up the engine doesn't warm up the transmission. Until the transmission warms up it's best to shift slower than normal.

If you do get the WORKS shifter though you'll like it; I love mine.

thx, my mud flaps is coming in tomorrow nxt pay check is woks shifter then intake n exhaust

Whete can u get the works shifter and how much? As far as ur shifting problem goes, mine does the same when i put it in 3rd. From what i can see and feel it doesn't matter if it's cold or hot, it just does it randomly. At first i thought it was me not pressing the clutch all the way in but now I'm sure it has nothing to do with that. It only happens for the 3rd gear.

+1 works SS, and flossy heavy weight knob, plus shift box bushings, and some good tranny fluid = win.

and if that still isn't enough through in some under hood shift cable bushings.
