i actually am interested in this poll but think that a better range of choices would be:
A. Never
B. Shorter than recommended interval
C. Longer than recommended interval

oh and also... thread title 'what triggers you to change your oil' is a completely different question than 'when do you change your oil'

don't mean to be a dick but just trying to save op the confusion of why he won't have an accurate answer to his question...

Writing a meaningful poll is hard and I agree that the poll has some poor choices. It also could have been multiple choice, as most people's real answer is "it varies".

A) Every 5000 miles (Mitsu recommended)
B) Every 3000 miles (Oil company propaganda)
C) More than 5000 miles
D) Less than 3000 miles
E) Based around track/trip schedule, otherwise 5000
F) Based around track/trip schedule, otherwise 3000
G) When Honey Badger tells me to...

There are a lot of polls like this for the 4G63 series, but I don't recall seeing many for the 4B11T cars.
