grinding noise at startup after clutch install

Got my clutch done this weekend and got the car back on sunday. Everything was ok initially but on monday i started to hear a faint noise when turning the car on.

It got louder the next time i started her up and then this morning there was a loud grinding noise and the car wouldnt start. Any ideas?

I'm going to guess the flywheel was installed incorrectly but there are way smarter people who should be able to provide you greater detail. Needless to say, it's the installers issue and you need to be on the phone with them now to get it back there and resolved.

It is almost definately related to the clutch install. Contact whoever did the install and let them know you are having issues now.

To me that sounds more like a starter issue and less like a clutch issue? Dunno, I'm no expert.

Problem Solved - They forgot to tighten the starter and made a house visit to resolve. I'm back in business!

good news though a little pathetic on the shop's part. A house visit makes it a little better.

Was this taken to the dealership for replacement or to a private shop?
