Do you have any other mods?

Most guys will tell you to tune it, but I still follow ETS's build where they didn't tune it. Tobz and ETS have both done intakes with a manual boost controller and no tune.

No this doesn't apply for the AMS intake because it changes the maf housing diameter so you will need a tuner to scale it properly and tune it.

So DONT install it without a pro tune. You will also need a heat shield I think

Do you guys know for sure if the Agency Power intake or K&N intakes need a tune...I've done some research but havent seen exact answers for those...from what i've see you dont need a tune for the Typhoon but havent found anything concrete in either direction for the Agency Power...I just bought a CNT RS exhaust and want to get a Turbosmart Dualport BOV and an intake...but I really want to avoid a tune for now if I can...thanks in advance

The K&N should be fine w/o a tune; K&N does decent R&D testing on their stuff to ensure it's safe to simply bolt-on.

You're right about the tune with the AMS pipe. They recommend 2010+ get a tune. Only 08-09 didn't need a tune.

This is correct.

All 2010+ Evo X's will require a tune when installing our short ram intake system. If this is not done you run the risk of damaging your engine.

Does it have to be a protune or are the Cobb AP OTS maps fine?
