It seems that every Evo I buy ends up getting a minimum of $5k in parts... so this time I am not doing it (I've had 5 Evos so far). I'm just going to buy a mod called "Nissan GT-R" and be done with it. About 6 more months before I make that happen...

Especially comparing it to a fwd turbo'd focus.
It’s not ridiculous - it’s a fact. It’s also really sad that you've taken my criticism of a car so personally. If your ego is so entangled with a lump of metal then these things will happen I guess.

Wind ya neck in pal.

I said "For me the car is un-involving to drive. I just don't feel "connected" to the car." Its a fact that that is how I feel driving the car. Understand now or should I post a crayon drawing for you?

Like I said that's an opinion, not a fact. Need the websters dictionary link to show the difference?

Crazy, fiancé is really buckling down on me now to keep the mod bug away and get the house fund up to speed. I'm fine with it though, I want to focus on a nice man cave for my toys.

If your paying your bills on time, taking care of the family, saving for retirement; you shouldn't not have to worry about modding a car.

Any woman that berates a man for spending his paycheck if he is doing the above.. time for a new woman.

Maybe cause you got an evo x MR? I havent driven one but your car isn't even manual and i've heard that the evo 8 and 9 feel much more raw which is probably what youre going for. You should try out an evo 9. Im sure it'll be much better than a focus st even in stock form.

It feels like about $9,000,000 in total with more to come. I used to keep track of everything but the numbers added up so quickly and high that Microsoft Excel kept crashing...

I now keep mods and improvements separate from maintenance. Until the engine rebuild the maintenance is the biggest expense. Oil alone is bad enough at about 96 qts a season.
