Lost Key

So I drove home the other day, pulled up at the house...BAM!..No key. I've looked everywhere and cannot find the thing...had to run to the store for the wife so I hopped in the car and it cranked up, so I'm like hold-up...the key is somewhere. Drove around all night like that...wake-up in the morning...wait for it...key not detected. WTF! Im stuck using the spare, cannot for the life of me figure this out. I've looked EVERYWHERE...

I'm mainly here to vent...so mad...

On the flip side...how many of you guys have lost your key (be it falling out of your pocket or what ever)...???

I hate that stupid key!! You should not be able to drive away without it on you. The car should stall out when you go to put the car in drive or perhaps when you hit the brake before you put it into drive/gear. If the car is parked and running and you dont have the key on you it should not let you drive away!! Someone could just jump in the car while it is started in my driveway and just haul *** outta there and have some fun. Silly, silly design IMO.

So in short....I am right there with you!!

HOLLA!!!

Key HAS to be in your car somewhere if it cranked up. Maybe it got under the amp under the driver side? Has to be near the center console, that is where the FOB sensor is.

Thought of that...just short of pulling the seat up and cannot find it. Luckly enough its apparently far enough from the sensor where I can actually lock my car now... freekin weak

I had this happen to me, the key fell out of my pockeet and under the rug by the amp. I couldn't find it for the life of me. I ended up having to take out the driver seat to get where it fell to. good luck lol
