I would maybe just take it easy on the boost until you get a solution to your tuning problem. Like others have said, its probably fine and the MAF should be able to adjust to the increased flow, but better safe than sorry with a car you recently purchased. If there were no tuners in my area, I would just get a Cobb AP then track down a reliable e-tuner.

One thing to add, why go with a DP next? From everything I've read here that isn't completely needed until you upgrade turbo or at least until you go further with bolt-ons. Not sure what your plans are for the future but TP or HFC might be a better starting point for the exhaust system.

I'd say they range on the higher side of the price scale, but they are very good, in both installations, professionalism and recommendations on where to go with a build

Don't waste your time with a Cobb AP. If you want to do more than their free maps support, mods wise, then you'll be spending 500 for some digital gauges, because you'll have to get a protune anyway.

Trust me, I just went through this.

Install all of your bolt ons then get a tune, otherwise you'll be paying for a new tune for every mod?? And why for like a 10 hp gain? Do it it all at once so you pay once.

You will be fine with out a tune but just know that you will be running lean.

If the second half of the above is true, then the first half is not. One of the most dangerous things to do with a forced-induction engine is to run lean.
