He or she is trying to write "revalve."
If you have a GSR, it's irrelevant, because you can't. If you have an MR, it depends on the rate of the new springs, but, odds are, it won't help and/or isn't needed. For example, one of the best replacement springs for Xs are GTWorks Tarmacs and then work just fine with stock-valve Bilsteins.

In order to be able to revalve a shock, there must be a way to open it, change the shims on the piston-head, close it back up with the oil still inside, and then repressurize. This can be done with the Bilsteins from an MR (like almost all Bilsteins). It can't be done on the KYBs from a GSR (like a majority of OE shocks on any car).

i have my gtworx springs + mr strut combo at home. i was planning on sending it out to bilstein next month. stop me if i've been fed bs because revalving aint cheap. its around $450 for all four.
And don't skip the alignment.
You'll throw off your camber and SAI when you lower a MacPherson car.
When I put DMS 40s in my Celica GT-Four, I added Cusco camber plates so I could get the alignment right.
After a day or so of fiddling, I wound up with what may have been the world's only AWD Celica with no understeer.
