does AMS or ETS down pipe replace the cat? i am looking for dp that will delete cat converter..or do i need a test pipe,

 

You want a test pipe

 

just a test pipe or with dp

 

Just a test pipe, there are no cats in the x downpipe. Unless you plan on going e85/big turbo replacing the full downpipe isn't really worth it.

 

no e85 no big turbo, all i have is ets intake and i was told to get a dp that will delete cat and then get a tune, thats why i asked...thank you

AMS and ETS does not delete your cat. Cobb has a dp that deletes the cat as well.

 

thats what i was looking for..might get Cobb then...if i go with ETS or AMS will i be ok or need to get test pipe...sorry i was looking on google but not much there and thank you again

 

The DP doesn't have a cat. If you want a DP and TP once piece, go with the Invidia. It has no cat. For less than $300, you can't go wrong. For the most part, Invidia has some good quality stuff.

 

thank you Sev, my car is most stock, ETS intake uicp and a bov, i was told to get dp and a good tune, and i got bit confused...opps...but thanks again i will check it out

 

if your tuner told you to get a dp and not mention to get a tp. i suggest you to run away from him.
your setup is no need to get any sort of dp.
go get a test pipe and 3 port or if you have more cash you can also get a nice exhaust. then after all go get a tune.
