Im at 13,000 miles and my 1st to 2nd still does that buzzing sound/grind and is hard to shift into sometimes... would changing my transmission fluid really help me? since my car is already broken into

 

Warming up at idle is great and all, but it won't warm up your transmission. Be easy the first few minutes of driving, the transmission fluid will warm up and all will be right. I usually shift first to third w/very minimal acceleration until it gets up to temp.

 

Got it. Thank you. Was worried about harm, not the hassle of letting it warm up. Good to know its just an annoyance.

 

Dude, it's only 2,000 miles. Go to the dealer and get it done for free. if it is not free then listen to us.

 

Hi. Yeah, I went to the dealer. I am beyond disappointed how terrible mitsu service is. Completely clueless. I spoke with the tech and the service advisors, and none of them knew what day it is. Tech tried to tell me it was normal since the car was so new. I don't plan on having my car touched by the dealer unless its warranty work. They really seem clueless.
