30k service

I just recently hit 30k miles on my 14 evo X. How much does it cost to get the 30k service done and how long does it usually take. Thank you

Are you planning on doing it yourself or taking it to the dealer (or local mechanic)?

More than likely the dealer. I just want to see how much it would be, my friend knows a guy that can do it but he is usually slammed so I don't want to waste his time with this.

I've read as low as around $650, but it's going to vary by dealer. For instance the one in my area wanted $900.

I ended up doing it myself.

Was this covered under warranty? I got my car with 33k miles, and I'm not sure if the previous owner did this or not.

Typically routine maintenances are not covered.

If he did it at a dealership, it may show up on the service records if you log into the mitsubishi website. If he did it himself obviously it wouldn't.

Personally if it doesn't show up on the website, this is one of those things where it's not even worth it to guess, and just do it/get it done.

This is one of if not the most important maintenances you can do/have done on an SST Equipped Evo, and goes a long way in prolonging the life of it. If you want to lessen the life of your evo over what? About $400 in fluids and filters if you do it yourself?
