C161e Code. and strange things

Hi.
I'm iker from Spain. I have a problem with my EVO X.
several things happen
I have changed the SSt box and I have put one of an fq
It has the fault code c161e on
When you accelerate it cuts inyection and pops in 4500 rpm and does not pass of those revolutions
you raise the foot of the accelerator pedal you step on it again and if it reaches the normal cut inyection of the car
when the car is stopped, it reaches the normal cut. it does not stop at 4500 rpm
In the engine at idle has a noise in the area of admission. bad noise
Thanks for the help
Iker

Sounds like your MAF sensor. It needs to be cleaned or replaced.

I hope it helps you but the best thing to do is to have someone diagnose it. The Mass Air Flow sensor is a few hundred US dollars.
