Retrofit headlight adjustments

The lights are off a my 2011 SSS.

I recently redid my own headlights, installed morimoto angel eyes, demon eyes and installed a zkw-r lens in the stock projector. They came out great but the only problem when adjusting the headlights the cutoff lines are exactly the same against the wall but the drivers headlight seems to have more light output on the ground than the passenger side. I'm not sure what would cause this so I'm looking for advice.

Any help is appreciated!

I can post pics tonight.

Are you using the stock HID bulbs and ballasts? It could be that the passenger side HID bulb is getting dim. I replaced a pair of HID bulbs in an 08 and that made a world of difference. I used phillips bulbs and they are legit.

I'm pretty sure the bulbs are aftermarket with stock ballasts. I may have to check to make sure the bulb is seated properly which could be giving me my problem. The light output on both is the same but the drivers side seems to be projecting the light lower than the passenger even though the lights have been adjusted to be even against a wall.

I get off work soon and hoping I can get a good pic of what I'm talking about.

Yea bulb position is important so make sure they are seated. Light output can change depending on the position of the bulb.

I opened the back of the housing and sure enough the bulb wasn't fully seated. Thanks for the help!
